Wheelers For The Wounded Texas will be participating in the Bataan Memorial Death March on 22 March 2025. The march is 26.2 miles through the Chihuahua Desert at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in honor and memory of the approximately 10,000 allied soldiers that died during the Bataan Death March in the Philippines in 1942.
During the March, Wheelers For The Wounded Texas would like to honor those veterans who have passed. We will carry banners listing the names of friends and family of our wheeling community who have served and passed. Space may be limited but we will do our best to include as many names as possible. Please submit name and info in the form below of anyone you would like us to honor. Precedence on inclusion will be as follows:
1. KIA/MIA and those who died as the results of wounds (both physical and psychological)received in combat (every effort will be made to include every one)
2. Combat Veterans
3. All other veterans
The banner(s) will read:
“In Honor and Memory of:
First and Last Name
Conflict served in (For KIA and Combat Veterans)
DOB – DOD”
