WFTWTX would like to apologize for taking a while to post details about our Main Event. We know you all have been eagerly awaiting the announcements for the event. WFTWTX has been diligently working on a plan that would be beneficial to everyone. Seeing as although the COVID mandates in Texas have been loosened, federal mandates are still in place. That will not allow us to bring our beloved wounded veterans from the bases on a bus. With that being said, the event May 1, 2021 will look a little different.

 

We have decided this year would be a good time to say thank you to ALL our veteran and volunteer drivers, with a first ever Veteran and Volunteer Driver Appreciation Day!!!!

 

Without our veterans or our volunteers, Wheelers for the Wounded Texas wouldn’t be what it is today, and it’s high time we say thank you for your continuous support, time, and many many donations.

 

WFTWTX will be covering the cost, up to $50 per family, of those who Pre register for their day of wheeling on Event Saturday. That will include a day pass into Hidden Falls Adventure Park, 1 meal ticket for the dinner and an awesome WFTWTX grab bag with lots of great goodies, and an entire day of wheeling!!! Extra meal tickets will be available for $5 a piece.

Thank you all for your understanding during this time, and we’re sorry for having to make such a drastic change. We will be having an actual Main Event at a later time.

 

The flyer with ALL information regarding the May 1, 2021 appreciation day and pre registration will be posted this coming Friday.
